miss it by a minute miss it by a mile miss it by a morning it was someone else’s show at the other end of town I like the sideburns how long will you keep them? did you really just find them there one morning? everybody’s got a Garaplan everybody’s got a sleepyhead lying there he found a day job he’s been lifting drywall how can he say it feels like a vacation? everybody’s got a Garaplan everybody’s got a sleepyhead lying there on the couch for only a few more days kick him out in subtle ways was that the new song? did he give you a preview? did he take your smokes and walk you to your front door? did he kiss you and hold you tight till morming? I like the landlord how long will you keep him? did you really just find him there one morning?

I bought a stamp today things have been better tomorrow’s errand is to go out and mail a letter there have been many times when I jumped out of bed it seems like a different century a different country I can’t do this alone I can’t do this one without you I can’t go it alone I’d like you to be here the one and only time I ever saw it a decade and a half ago through a window they say I should forget it stop searching the earth the newer orange box will do an even better job but I can’t let this go I trust I’ll find it someday just around the corner but where to find that corner the little orange box just won’t go away the house of energy is now the house of gloom it was never part of the plan to spend all of August in my room if I am told it might be twenty blocks away I’ll crawl through a room of nuts and bolts and won’t care if a bucket of grease falls on me I can’t do this alone I don’t want to do this one alone I trust I’ll find it someday but when to find that someday they speak of it with praise I’ll defend it’s every

walk around walk around trying to put on weight I'm looking for a flash I could use at a later date I'm waiting for the leaves to do something to the slate I could buy a book I could relocate I guess it's just as well something broke the phone tonight there's very little I'd want to carve in stone again I will avoid becoming skin and bone again I will be shown what to do when I'm alone something's going well we let our lunch run late but something isn't right I don't know what is on my plate I don't know what's outside for beautiful is she in my sight now I learn that my eyeball my eyeball is slightly football-shaped the guy who's on the air he's saying love but he's talking hate he wouldn't let us sing he made all of us wait and when it comes my turn I'll sing like Bonnie Raitt everyone is here there's Petrucchio and there's Kate two new smiles arrive Chippy brought a date we can't help but smile for beautiful are they in our sight back to back hand in hand eyes open wide

Bucky Dent 02:11
there has never been a need to but I’m going to walk right up to you and talk about Bucky Dent it’s fine if a book from 1953 tells you how to cut pictures because Bucky threw to first just like they threw to first in 1908 now the engineer won’t let you put the drums all on one side and everything else on the other tell him they’re doing it in Halifax how can you not where a tuque on a day like this?

will you laugh at me if you see me hanging of the roof? were you in my high school class? and do you own this house I’m painting? getting up to here by the ladder was a true ordeal I’d wish on no one when it’s time for lunch I’ll stay atop this house I’m painting green most of my heart is for you do with it as ever you please I might as well give it to you here’s somebody new he’s the client Mister W he seems cool but does he really have to watch me with binoculars? half the day is gone sandwich melted and fell to the lawn there’s something peaceful the garden can I have the Pepsi in your fridge? about 135 little green spots on my jeans I should have put them further away a new pair will cost more than what I’ll make today maybe it’s the sun it’s been beating on my head all day I miss you big time I came up with some words a nifty line to tell you something true
